This page describes the settings necessary to use the mail system provided by Fladi.at.

Sending mail

Sending mail is accomplished through SMTP. To configure a client to use SMTP with Fladi.at use the following settings:

Port 587
STARTTLS On
Username Fladi.at-Username
Password Fladi.at-Password

Receiving mail

Receiving mail is accomplished through IMAP. To configure a client to use IMAP with Fladi.at use the following settings:

Hostname imap.fladi.at
Port 143
STARTTLS On
Username Fladi.at-Username
Password Fladi.at-Password

Filtering mail

Filtering mail is accomplished through Sieve. To configure a client to use Sieve with Fladi.at use the following settings:

Port 4190

Password Fladi.at-Password

Sieve can be used to filter incoming mails directly on the server before they even reach the mailbox. There is a convenient interface available in the webmail system that allows to constructi and maintain simple and even complex filters. For Thunderbird/Icedove exists the Sieve addon which can also be used to maintain the filters directly inside the mail client.

Webmail

To access the mail system on Fladi.at qwithout the need for a separate client a webmail system is provided:

Mobile syncronization

Information from the webmail system (mail, calendar & contacts) can be synced to mobile phones running android by using the ActiveSync provider:
