It’s now three months that I’ve banned Microsoft Windows entirely from my Workstation.
Switching to Debian Sid was the best choice I’ve ever made regarding operation systems. All the servers at the Medical University Graz are now even easier to reach than in windows. No need for an SSH client (PuTTy) or an extra X11 server (XMing). NFS/DAV/SSHFS/SFTP/SCP right out of the shell, yeah baby
And, last but not least: Compiz
Boring old Windows desktop be gone!
